Visual artist and educator Richard Downs will talk about his current solo show, "Connections" in combination with his career in the applied arts. He's created illustrations for most North American editorial publications including National Geographic, Smithsonian, The Wall Street Journal and others. He'll also talk about designing the artwork that has helped form the visual identity for the edu technology company, Lynda.com
