Inspired by a seminal work in the di Rosa collection by William T. Wiley, Beatnik Meteors presents a group of contemporary regional artists who share an interest in creating platforms for collaborative work. Paul Clipson, Lisa Rybovich Crallé, Chris Duncan, Christopher Füllemann, and Bailey Hikawa show new work structured to invite participation and artistic exchange. A series of events with local performers, composers, and musicians will animate the installations over the course of the exhibition, which also offers a rare opportunity to view the original Wiley work from 1970.
