The Book Club of California's Spring 2016 exhibition is now on view. Calligraphy and Poetry: Thomas Ingmire in Collaboration with David Annwn traces a remarkable, multi-year collaboration between Anglo-Welsh poet Annwn and San Francisco calligrapher Ingmire through a series of artist books. Though thoroughly grounded in the traditional arts of calligraphy, Ingmire’s work has pushed the boundaries of the medium for decades, and his exquisite sense of color and form is fully on display in Calligraphy and Poetry.
