In preparation for this exhibition the artists were served an order of fruits and vegetables with a single living bee inside each one. The artists thought about a flame filling a jar and used this jar to move about the dark. In preparation they let a single bee dissolve upon their tongues. Within their tongues the artists hid the muscles of their fists. Not their hand—just their fists. In preparation they lay amid fruits and vegetables and savored the depression vibe. In preparation they have never bought a book signed by the Grim Reaper. They have never not seen a rainbow shining from a prism. In preparation the artists became visible only to their parents. -James Gendron/James Cordas
