Disruption is a popular Silicon Valley watchword used to characterize various strategies that displace prior technologies and markets. Five artists—Lauren Marie Taylor, Whitney Lynn, Kristina Lee Podesva, Amanda Curreri, and double zero (Hannah Ireland & Annie Vought)—present interactive performances, participatory readings, exercises, consultations, and group experiences that explore the theme of disruption and its relationship to contemporary human networks. This series is part of Bay Area Now 7 and is curated by Bean Gilsdorf.
