Art Practical is pleased to screen two new video collaborations commissioned for Issue 7.4 / Moving Target, an ongoing exploration of the intersections between art and poetry in the Bay Area.
The program includes:
"Learning to Read" - Jennifer Locke and Camille Roy.
Can one not articulate well but still be expressive? What emerges from writing's scaffolding, or when the jibber-jabber stops?
"Pair" - Elaine Kahn, Trisha Low and Monica Raden.
'That’s horrible,' she said - Any song she sang was a second-by-second lesson in the meaning of mortality.
Plus, readings by Anne McGuire, Lindsey Boldt, and Steve Orth.
