Exercises in Style http://exercises-in-style.com/ by Ana María Montenegro and Enar de Dios Rodriguez Taking as a title and inspiration the famous work by Raymond Queneau, Exercises in Style is a live fictional film created from streaming security camera feeds located in the Bay Area and available online. There will be four versions of the film. All of them will use the same camera feeds and will tell the same story (through text displayed as subtitles), but will vary in their style and form. Overall, Exercises in Style reflects upon real time, variations, involuntary decisions and observation. Both the screenings and the edition of the films will happen live at StoreFrontLab approximately 20 minutes before sunset on Saturdays.
