For Joan Jonas, Professor Adrian Daub on repetition

In Joan Jonas's work, repetition is everywhere—conceptually, formally, narratively, iconographically.

Considering the nature of repetition more generally, Prof. Adrian Daub gives an overview on the philosophical life of the concept, and how thinkers such as Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, or Deleuze understood and wrote about it.

Adrian Daub is an Associate Professor of German Studies at Stanford University.

This event is organized by Jordan Kantor (Professor of Fine Arts, CCA) and is the third of a year-long series of events about and around the work of Joan Jonas.
