Kala Art Institute announces FRESH & LOCAL!, its 2015 annual gala benefit auction to be held from 6:30-10:30 pm Saturday, April 25 at the Kala Gallery. The auction -- featuring over 100 works by Bay Area artists along with art-related services and treasures offered by local donors -- provides vital support for Kala’s extensive array of artistic, cultural, and educational programs serving the East Bay community and beyond.
FRESH & LOCAL! opens with a preview party at the gallery from 6-9 pm Tuesday, April 9 followed by a two-week-long exhibition of the works on offer, enabling early birds to view the auction items in advance and make pre-emptive bids.
