Don Soker Contemporary Art is pleased to announce Gallery Artists in a New Space, an exhibition showing from July 11 to August 29. After 8 locations in 42 years the new exhibition space is at 2180 Bryant Street Ste. 205 in San Francisco’s Mission District. The building is a century old warehouse/loft occupied by 15 creative and tech businesses. It is at the corner of 20th and Bryant, close to several arts organizations and many restaurants. The opening exhibition will be held in two parts. The first, from Saturday July 11th will feature locally based gallery artists: Julie Alland, Tom Bills, Peter Boyer, Van Chang, Jesse Gottesman, Robin Hill, Carole Jeung, Theodora Varnay Jones, Rose Ponting, and Blake Summers. The second part of the exhibition will begin on Saturday, August 8th and close August 29th. It will consist of other gallery artists, most of whom are based outside the Bay Area: Christel Dillbohner, Judith Maloney, Victoria May, Tetsuya Noda, Susanne Schossig, Gordon Senior, Shoichi Seino, Eleanor Wood, and Yutaka Yoshinaga. The new space will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 12 to 6 pm and appointments are very welcome. Please use the intercom at the door.
