Joyce Hsu
Joyce Hsu is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture installation and public art. Her art playfully reinvents icons familiar in contemporary culture and art history, with the intention of linking a contemporary site with its overarching cultural narrative. She received her Master of Fine Arts at the San Francisco Art Institute and her Master of Architecture at California College of the Arts. This lecture is presented in conjunction with the Fine Arts Gallery exhibition “PLAY: Process: Activism, Subversion,” which features work by Hsu.
Sponsored by the SF State Instructional Related Activities Fund.
