Each and every Saturday at the multi-purpose event center, "Epic Music Cafe," featuring Rashawn Banz. Rashawn Banz is a rising musician that specializes in Hip-Hop, and hails from St. Louis MO. 18 year-old Banz uses his talent to rap and sing about his own life experiences growing up rough and impoverished in the city of St. Louis, and incorporates catchy melodies that not only will get stuck in your head, but also hold meaning. Although Banz talks about tough situations in his music, he wants to spread a message of hope to anyone who might be in similar situations... Using himself as a living testimony, Banz was accepted, and now attends the University of MIzzou. Banz scored a 29 on his ACT. Banz says, "You just have to want better for yourself and don't stop until you get where you want to be, regardless of what's expected of you." While he continues to struggle to focus on school and music, Banz is optimistic that he can excel in both. DonJuan is a St. Louis Native, also known as "DJ." Born in 1999; he has been writing, producing, and recording his own rhymes since he was 8. DonJuan says, "All I want to do is make music, yah know."
