ODC Theater hosts TERRAIN, a collaborative performance and exhibition project that delves into the aging female form, both as a focus of marginalization and celebration. Spearheaded by Oakland-based artist and choreographer Kate Mitchell, the show draws parallels between a maturing body and the natural textures found in ecological environments. TERRAIN incorporates contemporary dance, a photography exhibition and a collection of original costumes, all to highlight the sculptural beauty of an aging human form in the midst of enduring topography. The 50 minute performance will run on Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th at the ODC Theater.
