This exclusive West Coast solo show for Boston Based artist Kyle Brown presents a collection of charcoal renderings documenting patterns of debris and wreckage collected from the shoreline of the Atlantic. These beautiful monochromatic works have a delicacy and richness that salvages beauty from the discarded. Kyle describes these pungently salted debris fields as both relentless and permanent. “These remnants generate intricate patterns and recordings seen nowhere else; they embody the manufactured and its excess, along with natures imprint… My compendium of refuse documents this enduring field of waste, in which there is no away” Kyle Browne.
The show runs from February 5-28th with an opening reception Friday February 6th from 6-9PM.
