Professionally accomplished and creative industry leaders will share their insight on how artists can thrive in the Bay Area and beyond. Social practice, community collaboration, creative placemaking… these contemporary buzzwords reflect an evolving conversation on how art can play an intentional role in community development. This panel discussion will address how artists can create projects that have an integrated community element. Are you interested in opportunities for artists working with the community? Are you looking to break out of the studio? Learn about partnering with people, organizations and institutions to successfully ‘work well with others’ to engage new audiences through your art.
