Ever Gold Gallery is proud to present Let’s Go All The Way, an exhibition of new textile works by Ben Venom. Let’s Go All The Way is the artist’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Working with repurposed materials, Venom combines the often menacing and combative countercultural imagery of biker gangs, metal music and the occult with the comforts of domesticity in a series of quilts and textile-based works. Through this collision of traditional quilting techniques and aesthetics tied to the fringes of society, Venom re-envisions the narrative of contemporary materials and examines the possibility for a new interpretation of American folk craft.
