Lumiphilia is a one-day only exhibit of paintings that are a reflection of Imara’s passion for people, color, and light. According to Imara, the subjects of the portraits in her body of work might appear to be from another time and place, but Lumiphilia demonstrates that sometimes the details of birth matter less than the human experiences that join us. Imara’s artwork typically highlights the humanity, inner struggles, and beauty of people, especially those who are often marginalized by society.
