To inaugurate the launch of our new Flat Files program, City Limits is excited to announce Making Space, an exhibition highlighting 6 of the artists in the program: Sarah Hotchkiss, Mary Anne Kluth, David Lasley, Jodie Mack, Sam Mell, and John Zane Zappas. These artists, working in a diverse range of methods and media, use 2-D works as an important aspect of what are otherwise 3-D or time-based art practices.
Works from Making Space, as well as other works in the Flat Files program, will be available for viewing and purchase in-gallery and at a new online store which will launch with the exhibition. Selected works include collage, video and film stills, photography, drawing, painting, sculpture and more.
