Patricia Sweetow Gallery welcomes artist Markus Linnenbrink with SUNANDWATER, in his one-person exhibition at our pop-up gallery in Oakland. The three spaces will be filled with drilled, incised and drip paintings. In our 12′ x 12′ space, Linnenbrink will prepare a wall painting befitting the unique characteristics of the space. For three decades his inventive methodology has driven with intuitive intentionality. Recent commissions include 75 Rockefeller Center, New York with a 7-by-90-foot painting installed in their public concourse lobby; Morrison & Foerster, New York installation of eight, 9-by-42 foot wall paintings; and Jorge M. Pérez SLS Brickell 40,000 sq. ft. wall painting, Miami, Florida.
