THE SATANIC VERSES, 2017
Manny Prieres latest exhibition features three bodies of work all addressing the influence of mass communication and the "death of print". The works include black on black replications of banned books, formative LP's from the artist's adolescence and large paintings featuring every page of a book layered to create a black mass of text.
