14 Japanese artists from Sakai, Japan and 9 American artists from the East Bay exhibit together.
In the spirit of cultural awareness and friendship, artists from Sakai and Berkeley blend together the best of the East and West--traditional and contemporary art at the ACCI Gallery in Berkeley, CA. The exhibition showcases a mix of media from painting to photography, to promote artistic exchange and goodwill between sister cities. Since 2005, the Berkeley Bridge Artists and the International Art Bridge artists of Sakai have enjoyed an ongoing cultural dialogue through collaborative exhibitions and exchanges.
