pulled is the third show presented by c2c project space in our c2c/wc annex. The show brings together work from artists who use the action of pulling in their process. Whether that’s pulling thread or cloth through needle point or crochet methods such as Jon Cowan or Ramekon O'arwisters…or pulling a print from a press as Mark Taylor often does. This motion used is transferred to the work that it helps create. Nate Ethier pulls tape he uses to mask off sections of his paintings while pulling the forms and shapes depicted…while Robert Reed uses pulled, more organic appearing application as a resist.
The show opens Saturday, Feb. 21 with a reception from 6-9pm and runs with regular gallery hours on Sundays from Noon-5pm through March 15.
