ICA Live! Presents: Mary Younakof: RGB participatory performance
Mary Younakof: RGB participatory performance Friday, August 7, 2015 7:00pm Parque de los Pobladores (also known as Gore Park)
On Friday, August 7, ICA Live! will feature Los Angeles-based artist Mary Younakof in a lively performance titled RGB. The artist will choreograph a series of movements with 49 volunteer participants wearing various colored dresses made by the artist, to create what will appear to be a visually engaging, human kaleidoscope. PLEASE JOIN US! The public is invited to participate in this performance! Interested participants should arrive at the ICA at 6:00pm to select a dress to wear and to change in the coat-check area. The artist will choreograph a brief production in the park across from the ICA, with 49 participants wearing dresses from the project.
