The San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art will hold its 36th Annual Silent Auction and Party on October 8th. The event will feature works by Bay Area-based, national and international artists. The selection of work in the exhibition reflects the ICA’s continued commitment to including nationally and internationally recognized artists in its exhibition program. Held in a sophisticated gallery setting, Silent Auction guests bid on a wide range of work including paintings, photography, works on paper, sculpture, and mixed media pieces by nearly 200 artists. Tickets and information can be found at http://sjica.org/detail.html?eid=1173 or by calling 408-283-8155.
