Reception

November 12, 2016 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

In "Garden", Oakland artist Terry Dunn presents his new work, three-dimensional wall pieces that are inspired by the vegetable matter that he tries to keep alive in and around his abode. Dunn is an accomplished painter and he thinks of these works as 3D drawings. Individual carved and painted elements are assembled and evolved into whimsical and evocative concoctions, suggestive perhaps of undersea gardens or vivid alien landscapes.
