At this final gathering in a year-long series of monthly enacted readings, Michael Swaine’s twelve texts are combined into a series of chapbooks designed by Heather Watson, available at Southern Exposure. The chapbooks serve as documentation of Swaine’s events and instructions for enacting your own “moments of brevity.”
Join us for a celebration of a year of holding scissors, rope, extension cords, each others' hands and our own breaths, closing our eyes, lying on the sidewalk and buttoning ourselves together.
