Create a visual masterpiece on Valentine’s Day! The guided workshop in abstract collage will culminate in an original piece of art. We provide materials, a frame for your art, snacks and drinks. Upon completion of the class, the works will be hung in the gallery, and we will hold a Second Saturday wine and cheese reception to welcome your family and friends! Space is limited so reserve soon! Visit our website for more info: www.enemspace.com In this evening workshop we will explore the idea of abstraction and elements of visual language through the art of collage. By focusing on nonrepresentational images we will have the opportunity to discover intuition while investigating color and composition. We will delve into a variety of techniques for mixing and applying media to paper and creating our own collage materials. You will learn about layering positive and negative shapes to build complex images while discovering how to develop variety and contrast in your unique composition. Let’s make a mess, learn something interesting and create a great work of art in the process!
