Zoe Ani: SnapshotsPost an Event »
Zoe’s solo show presents the largest collection of her Encaustic paintings to date. Zoe's ethereal landscapes and portraits built up from layers of heated and pigmented bees wax reference a collection of personal Polaroids, taken on road trips between New York and San Francisco, These photographic memories, kept tucked away in the corresponding pages of a pocket sized AAA road atlas, were the inspiration for her beautiful wax surfaces, a moving and personal portrait of America emerges. Please join us for a special First Friday opening to celebrate Zoe’s work and her birthday.
