Celebrated for his outstanding career in architectural and landscape photography, this beloved Bay Area photographer's meticulous attention to detail and keen eye for light, color and form are brought to life on canvas with his wildly imaginative paintings of subjects spanning cement mixers to purely abstract compositions. Geller’s richly textured, vibrant and dripping forms often float in an ethereal field that appears to drift between an imagined representations of life in a Petri dish or monumental futurist cityscapes. The Alan Geller retrospective 50 Years of Paintings brings this impressive body of work together for the first time, including work offered to collectors for the first time. This is a rare chance to see the evolution of a painter's vision unfold over five decades. The Alan Geller retrospective is on exhibit at Gallery 1317 from July 1 to 30th.
