Explore the basics of dyeing indigo, learn new techniques for folding, twisting, tying and clamping fabric, then practice creating patterns and varying color depth, and your designs will be completely individual. Each participant will be provided with one yard of muslin, however participants are encouraged to bring their own un-dyed cotton, linen, or silk fabrics as well, including t-shirts and napkins. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting messy, as indigo will permanently stain fabrics. Cost: $25 Members, $30 General, includes materials Pay at the door. No pre-registration is required for this class, which is offered every second and fourth Friday of each month. This class is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced participants.
