LEWD Closing Night Silent Auction
Lewd exhibits explicit art in a casual, playful manor. Although erotic art may seem offensive to the masses, it has been here throughout time: cave drawings; religious documents; ancient sculptures, etc. It’s been archived and hidden away in books, but lately it’s creeping out into the open, and onto social media’s broad platform. It’s stimulating to see artists, especially women, creating such suggestive art. It may not be for everyone, but why is it still considered so offensive to some? These ribald artists have chosen to help break these boundaries, by simply creating. By sharing their art, they are providing an outlet of acceptance in the modern world. Lewd is an exhibit, or rather a forum, where it is socially acceptable to celebrate, engage in, and enjoy some naughty, filthy, gorgeous art. Truthfully, it will be a ridiculously fun shit show of a good time.
