Patricia Warren. From the Portrait Project, 2015.
As part of its 50th Anniversary celebration, Intersection for the Arts presents The Portrait Project, an exhibition of work by photographer Patricia Warren. Since 2007, she has provided formal framed portraits to residents of the Tenderloin, South of Market and Mission neighborhoods in San Francisco. The portrait sessions, often for low income or formerly homeless populations, are community-oriented events, providing a chance for neighbors to gather and interact in an activity that encourages expression and reinforces individual and familial cohesion. The Portrait Project is an Intersection CORE Member.
